This position is responsible for ensuring that the project(s) runs smoothly and if any issues occur, they are corrected immediately. This position will report to the Project Manager. \nJob Duties\nMaintain a daily project diary and help establish project priorities\nDaily timecard entry and approval\nTrack and record project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, and onsite inventory counts\nCompile cycle times and production information and log this information for historical data\nGather pay item quantities and collect information on extra work items\nConduct timely billing and reporting to maximize profit margins and positive cash flow\nManage and maintain department specific technology and computer programs\nDocument schedule delays and perform schedule updates\nAssemble and distribute project plans and specifications updates\nSustain a comprehensive understanding of the plans and specifications\nCoordinate efforts with management, project technicians, and customers to maintain and meet project scheduling\nProvide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Technicians, Management, Superintendents and customers to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe manner\nEnsure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and schedule\nEstablish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base\nEnsure accurate reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance\nAssist project in helping to meet or exceed expected margins\nUnderstanding and documentation of pipeline sampling/testing results\nOther duties as assigned\nSkills/Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in construction management (Preferred)\nBilingual English & Spanish (Preferred)\nStrong computer skills required with a special emphasis on Excel skills\nExperience in the construction industry\nCompetent in all Microsoft products and scheduling experience\nStrong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skills\nWillingness to work both in field and office settings and an ability to work in a high production, fast moving environment\nA valid driver license and proof of insurability is required.
