Join a team where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and your work helps maintain and enhance the critical infrastructure that powers communities across the nation.\nJob Summary\n The Senior Process Piping Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically overseeing our process piping scopes of work performed to ASME code (primarily B31.3 Process Piping). This role oversees all phases of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor management, client relations, ASME code compliance and QA/QC coordination, and project closeout activities. The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with ASME code requirements, quality standards, and contractual requirements.\nSuccess in this role is demonstrated through strong leadership, effective communication, financial management, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams. The Process Piping Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between field operations, company leadership, and customers, ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nOversee large scale process piping construction projects from set up to close out, related to industries including power generation, industrial/process facilities, refining/chemical, mining, and semiconductor / mission critical, ensuring work is executed in accordance with applicable ASME piping codes.\nResponsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.\nEnsure project execution complies with ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) and any other applicable ASME code requirements, from fabrication through field installation.\nCoordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspection on weld procedure qualification (WPS/PQR), welder certification, NDE, PWHT, hydrostatic testing, and Positive Material Identification (PMI) for pressure piping systems.\nReview P&IDs, piping isometrics, and piping material specifications with the project team to support constructability, procurement, and fabrication/field installation sequencing.\nSupervises the daily work of employees.\nVerifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.\nResponsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.\nCoordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.\nAssures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.\n\nQualifications\nRequired:\nMinimum of 8 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field, with direct experience managing process piping scopes.\nWorking knowledge of ASME B31.3 (Process Piping) and ASME Section IX (Welding and Brazing Qualifications).\nExperience coordinating QA/QC and inspection activities for pressure piping, including WPS/PQR, welder qualification, NDE, and hydrostatic testing.\nAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, piping isometrics, and piping specifications.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.\nExperience with P6 or similar scheduling software.\nExperience with Viewpoint or similar account software.\nExperience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.\nExperience coordinating pipe fabrication/spool shop activities in support of field installation.\nAWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or similar welding inspection credential.\nProficient with all Microsoft Office products.\nCompletion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.\nAbility to travel.\nDriver’s license with a clean driving record.\nEngineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
