Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. Must be able to pass pre-employment and on-going drug/alcohol testing.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\n\nReview project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.\nOversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.\nDocument project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.\nRespond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.\nSupervises the daily work of employees.\nVerifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.\nEnsure all safety and environmental requirements are met.\nCoordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.\nAssures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.\nEnsure that all employees within the department receive the proper training required for them to operate the machines they will be working on.\nAssigns work and monitors job costs and overall performance, including monthly forecasting.\nCompletes written reports on job progress, cost and other matters as requested.\nSupports planning on-the-job training for team members to ensure safety and quality of the work being done. Constantly monitors the job site for safety and quality of the work.\nWork closely with all areas of the operations to create new opportunities for Loenbro.\nReview and provide feedback on overall project schedule, working with Project Engineer to update and distribute to internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to produce a cost-based estimate for RFP’s that are sent to Loenbro.\nOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired:\n\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in construction of industrial & Commercial projects.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.\nExperience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.\nExperience with P6 or similar scheduling software.\nExperience with Viewpoint or similar account software.\nExperience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.\nProficient with all Microsoft Office products.\nCompletion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.\nAbility to travel at least 75% of the time.\nDriver’s license with a clean driving record.\nPreferred\n\nEngineering or Construction Management Degree.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\n The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
