Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications. This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.\nEssential Job Responsibilities\nUnderstand how to read project drawings.\nKnowledge of national and local code requirements relevant to this discipline.\nSupervises the daily work of employees.\nSupport estimating effort through bid reviews and constructability reviews, including review of activity productions, crew makeup, equipment selection and cost analysis.\nUnderstand how to generate and manage a 3 week and 6 week look ahead schedule to ensure manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and all resources are scheduled appropriately.\nAssures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.\nParticipates in review of job costs and overall performance with a particular focus on production\nSupports planning of on-the-job training for team members to ensure safety and quality of the work being done. Timely review of job sites for safety and quality of the work.\nWork closely with clients of the operations to create new opportunities for Loenbro.\nPerform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor\nMinimum Qualifications\nRequired:\nMinimum of 5 years of Superintendent experience in the construction of industrial projects.\nExperience managing projects and leading crews of up to 12 or more personals\nUnderstanding of Industry standard scheduling software and reports, Microsoft Office Suite\nValid Driver’s license with a clean driving record and Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.\nTrench Safety Training\nHave a background in underground installation of piping, trench and excavating experience, and underground boring experience.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
