In this role, you’ll oversee dishwashing operations, manage equipment and supply inventories, and maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. each shift\n\nMonitor team performance, providing hands-on training, coaching, and feedback to maintain consistent service excellence\n\nOversee the cleaning and sanitation of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment, ensuring everything meets Loews’ high standards\n\nEnsure dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment operate efficiently, reporting malfunctions promptly for repair\n\nCoordinate the cleaning of kitchen areas, storage spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain a spotless and organized environment\n\nEnforce proper safety procedures and hygiene protocols to prevent accidents and contamination\n\nMonitor compliance with health department regulations, including food safety and sanitation guidelines\n\nAssist with inventory management for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, ensuring the department is well-stocked and organized\n\nOversee safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards\n\nCollaborate with banquet, culinary, and outlet teams to ensure all necessary equipment such as trays, glassware, and cutlery is available and prepared for events\n\nSupport event setup and breakdown, coordinating with banquet and culinary teams for seamless execution\n\nManage the return and proper storage of equipment after events, ensuring accountability and organization\n\nFoster teamwork and maintain a positive work environment that encourages productivity and cooperation\n\nStep in to manage day-to-day floor operations in the absence of the Executive Steward or Assistant Executive Steward\n\nAttend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings as needed and prepare setups according to established standards\n\nRegular attendance in conformance with standards\n\nMay be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs\n\nRequired to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nYour Qualifications Include:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.\n\nMinimum 2-3 years of experience in a mid-volume stewarding operation within an upscale hotel or restaurant preferred\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently\n\nExcellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently\n\nPhysical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy items, standing for long
