This role will lead the development of innovative data science solutions that help clients solve complex business challenges through advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making.\nThe ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong consulting and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design analytical solutions, guide technical execution, mentor team members, and help clients translate data into actionable business outcomes. The role is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on solution design and execution, with program and project management owned by dedicated delivery leads.\nThis is an opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives across industries while contributing to the growth of Logic20/20's data science and analytics capabilities.\nWhat you’ll do:\nProvide overall leadership and strategic direction for data science initiatives, shaping technical vision, priorities, and roadmaps and driving key technical decisions with clients and practice leadership.\nPartner with clients to translate business objectives into advanced analytics solutions, leading solution architecture and design from concept through production.\nAnalyze large, complex datasets and develop, train, and validate statistical, predictive, and machine learning models.\nStay hands-on in Python, writing production-quality code and reviewing the team's code to uphold quality, maintainability, and reproducibility.\nEstablish best practices for model development, testing, documentation, and performance monitoring.\nMentor data scientists and analysts, and collaborate with data engineering, product, and business teams on end-to-end technical execution.\nCommunicate findings to executive and non-technical audiences, and contribute technical estimates and solution input to project planning and business development.\n 10-15 years of relevant experience in data science, software development, or a related field, including hands-on object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python and building production-grade models using Python and SQL.\nExperience setting technical strategies and roadmaps, leading the technical execution of complex analytics initiatives, and driving technical decision-making.\nExperience designing end-to-end solution architectures and building solutions in Azure (Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric).\nAdvanced hands-on Python skills, with experience leading code reviews and enforcing coding standards, testing, and version control.\nExperience working across the full data science lifecycle, from problem definition through model deployment, monitoring, and adoption.\nDemonstrated success leading the technical delivery of data science solutions and mentoring data scientists and analysts in enterprise environments.\nStrong client-facing consulting experience, including technical support for business development, with exceptional communication skills for technical and business audiences.\nPreferred Qualifications\nConsulting experience and/or experience in utilities, energy, infrastructure, asset management, or reliability-focused industries is highly preferred.\nExperience developing risk, reliability, asset health, anomaly detection, or failure prediction models.\nExperience supporting model governance, validation, explainability, and operationalization efforts.\nMaster’s degree or PhD in machine learning, statistics, computer science, data mining, math, or any quantitative discipline.\n At Logic20/20, we believe in recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent. Logic20/20 offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of $178,200 - $200,000 for this role. The final base salary offered is dependent on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
