This role focuses on executing complex security infrastructure projects including firewalls, endpoint security platforms, SIEM solutions, wireless solutions, SASE/SSE deployments, email security, security awareness training platforms, and other security stack components. The Security Implementation Engineer works from detailed designs and requirements to deliver production-ready security solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and documentation. This position serves as an escalation resource for complex technical issues when support teams require advanced expertise.\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\nProvide best in class customer service to Logically's customer base \n\nAdhere to company values while following best practices and operational procedures \n\nManage the status of open tickets/projects and complete technical and operational tasks to address project deliverables efficiently and accurately \n\nExecute project management responsibilities including timeline coordination, stakeholder communication, and deliverable tracking for assigned implementation projects \n\nDeploy and configure security infrastructure dependent upon circumstantial business and technology requirements \n\nExecute firewall builds, upgrades, and complex configurations across multiple platforms (SonicWall, Fortinet, other) \n\nDeploy and configure SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and SSE (Security Service Edge) solutions including FortiSASE and SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge \n\nImplement email security solutions including Proofpoint configuration, policy deployment, and integration with existing mail infrastructure \n\nDeploy and configure security awareness training platforms including KnowBe4 campaigns, phishing simulations, and reporting dashboards \n\nDeploy and configure endpoint security solutions including SentinelOne, Huntress, and other NGAV platforms across diverse customer environments \n\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based log collectors and syslog infrastructure for SIEM integration \n\nImplement wireless solutions including access points, controllers, and captive portal configurations across various platforms \n\nConfigure VPN solutions including site-to-site, client-based, and remote access implementations \n\nImplement switching solutions including VLAN configuration, spanning tree, link aggregation, and access control\n\nExecute security policy configurations including NAT, access rules, content filtering, and security service management \nCoordinate with customers and internal teams to schedule implementation activities and manage project timelines \nConduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on implementation progress \nPerform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for advanced and/or escalated issues \nValidate deployments through systematic testing and quality assurance procedures \nCreate and maintain comprehensive deployment documentation including as-built diagrams, configuration standards, and troubleshooting guides \nCollaborate with engineering teams to refine implementation procedures and identify process improvements \nProvide escalated support for complex technical issues requiring deep expertise \nMentor Security Implementation Technicians on advanced technical concepts and implementation best practices \nParticipate in on-call rotation to support critical customer needs \nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all contractual and regulatory requirements \nApply risk management principles to assess security configurations and recommend improvements \nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications: \nAssociate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, OR commensurate professional experience \n\n3-5 years of experience in network and security implementation or engineering roles \n\nAt least 1 of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, Fortinet NSE4 or higher, SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Network+, SSCP, Pentest+ \n\nDemonstrated experience deploying and configuring enterprise firewall platforms \n\nExperience with SASE/SSE platforms and cloud-delivered security services preferred \n\nFamiliarity with email security platforms (Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar) preferred \n\nExperience with security awareness training platforms (KnowBe4 or similar) preferred \n\nStrong knowledge of firewall policies, security standards, and ruleset management \n\nUnderstanding of network protocols including STP, LAG, LACP, ACL, LLDP, 802.1X, and NAC \n\nUnderstanding of L2/L3 switching and routing technologies \n\nExperience with Linux command line and basic system administration \n\nFamiliarity with endpoint security platforms and deployment methodologies \n\nExperience with SIEM platforms and log collection infrastructure preferred \n\nKnowledge of wireless technologies and deployment best practices preferred \n\nDemonstrated project coordination skills with ability to manage timelines and deliverables \n\nAbility to read and interpret network diagrams and technical specifications \n\nStrong problem-solving skills with
