The Sr. Solutions Engineer works as a member of the Professional Services team, interfacing directly with LogicMonitor customers while working closely with internal Customer Success Management, Tech Support and Training teams. As an experienced Solutions Engineer, duties for the Sr. Solutions Engineer are elevated to the most demanding projects with a focus on enterprise customers and internal projects.\nHere's a closer look at this key role:\n\nWe are is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the delivery of our most advanced technical solutions. As a vital member of the Professional Services team, you’ll work directly with customers while collaborating closely with Customer Success Management, Tech Support, and Training teams. In this role, you'll tackle our most challenging projects, support enterprise customers with innovative solutions, and drive key internal initiatives to elevate our service excellence.\nResponsibilities: \nLead Complex Deployments: Spearhead large-scale, intricate Professional Services engagements to ensure seamless execution.\n\nDrive Product Enhancements: Identify product gaps, feature requests, and issues, and communicate these insights to Product and Development teams.\n\nDeploy Custom Integrations: Implement tailored integrations using REST APIs to extend functionality within and beyond the LogicMonitor platform.\n\nAdvocate Best Practices: Share technical best practices and lessons learned with peers to elevate team performance.\n\nStay Informed: Continuously monitor new product features, updates, and enhancements by leveraging internal resources.\n\nCollaborate on Scoping: Serve as a key sounding board for Solutions Architects during the scoping of complex customer engagements.\n\nPlan Iteratively: Prioritize and schedule deliverables using an iterative development approach to ensure agile execution.\n\nDesign & Implement Solutions: Create, document, code, and test technical solutions for new tools, automations, or system enhancements.\n\nAgile Execution: Implement solutions following agile software development methodologies for rapid, high-quality delivery.\n\nCustomer-Centric Automation: Translate customer requirements into automation products that support the growth of Professional Services.\n\nEnvision System Enhancements: Analyze business requirements to conceptualize and new system features and functionalities.\n\nTroubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve automation or application issues to maintain optimal performance.\n\nMentor & Educate: Guide team members on advanced scripting concepts, including Big O notation, multi-threading, cookie management, and data caching.\n\nWhat You'll Need:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n4+ years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise environments.\n\n3+ years of hands-on development using Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript.\n\nStrong grasp of programming concepts and effective debugging techniques.\n\nRobust knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, and APIs.\n\nFamiliarity with AWS services and other cloud platforms.\n\nBonus Qualifications:\nIT certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, VMware VCP, CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent.\n\nFamiliarity with container and automation technologies: Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, etc.\n\nKnowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure platforms: Aruba, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, EMC, F5, HP, IBM, NetApp, Palo Alto, VMware, etc.\n\nExperience with automation and scripting.\n\nUnderstanding of Lambda functions and application monitoring.\n\nPrevious experience in software development, consulting, or professional services.\n\nWorking knowledge of JavaScript and/or Ruby.\n\nUnderstanding of server application administration: Apache, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and services like AWS and Microsoft Azure.\n\nClick here to read our International Applicant Privacy Notice.\nLogicMonitor is an Equal Opportunity Employer\n At LogicMonitor, we believe that innovation thrives when every voice is heard and each individual is empowered to bring their unique perspective.
