In this role, you will develop and maintain Python-based test automation, integrate lab equipment into automated test environments.\nThis position is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical foundation who is eager to deepen expertise in hardware-focused test automation.\nYour Contribution:\nIn this role you will:\nSupport the deployment, maintenance, and improvement of Python-based test frameworks.\nContribute to the development and execution of automated test scripts using Python.\nParticipate in manual and automated testing methodologies.\nAssist in the integration of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, sensors, etc.) with automation tools.\nUnderstand and follow detailed test plans and procedures to validate products.\nTroubleshoot failures in test scripts, hardware setups, and electronic interfaces\nIntegrate AI-based solutions into test automation when relevant.\nDocument test procedures, results, and contribute to clear and maintainable documentation.\nCollaborate with validation engineers to ensure test coverage and product quality.\nLearn and apply best practices in test design, automation, and quality assurance.\nKey Qualifications:\n For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:\nProgramming & Automation\n2-4 years of experience in software testing, automation, or embedded systems validation.\nSolid knowledge of Python programming basics.\nExperience with the Pytest framework is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Git \nHardware & Electronics\nKnowledge of Electronics Engineering fundamentals.\nHands-on assembly and wiring of electronic test benches, including integration of sensors, connectors, and harnesses.\nDebugging and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, signal integrity, and connectivity issues.\nTest & Validation\nInterest in embedded systems testing and automation tools.\nExposure to manual and automated testing methodologies.\nAbility to understand and execute detailed test plans and procedures.\nTools & Protocols\nProficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, USB analysers, power supplies, multimeter, etc.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols such as UART, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth.\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood verbal and written communication skills in English.\nA team player with a willingness to learn and take guidance from senior engineers.\nPreferable skills\nExperience with AI agent for engineering task \nExperience in product validation for Consumer electronics\nISTQB Certification\nEducation\nBachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.\nAcross Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
