In this role you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines supporting Android software development and product releases.\n\nBuild and maintain automation for software builds, testing, packaging, and release processes.\n\nOptimize build performance, reliability, and developer productivity across multiple engineering teams.\n\nAdminister and enhance engineering tools including Git, Gerrit, GitHub, Jenkins, artifact repositories, and related build infrastructure.\n\nSupport release engineering activities including branching strategies, build generation, release automation, software version management, and release candidate creation.\n\nPartner with software engineering teams, chipset vendors (e.g., Qualcomm and MediaTek), and ODM partners to support platform bring-up, BSP integration, software releases, and continuous improvement of development processes.\n\nDevelop tools and automation that improve engineering workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase development efficiency.\n\nMonitor, maintain, and improve the availability, security, scalability, and performance of build infrastructure.\n\nLeverage AI and automation technologies to streamline software development, build analysis, troubleshooting, and developer workflows.\n\n Key Qualifications:\nFor consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in Build Engineering, Release Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering working in the enterprise Android ecosystem\n\nExperience collaborating with silicon vendors (e.g., Qualcomm, MediaTek) and ODM/OEM partners to integrate platform updates and resolve build and release issues.\n\nStrong experience with Git, Gerrit, GitHub, and modern source control workflows.\n\nExperience developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar automation platforms.\n\nStrong experience with Android build systems including Soong, Make, Gradle, Repo, and Android platform build environments.\n\nStrong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.\n\nStrong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.\n\nExperience working with build automation, release management, and software versioning.\n\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with one or more of the following:\n\nAndroid BSP development and platform integration.\n\nExperience working with Qualcomm and/or MediaTek Android platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with Android platform bring-up, Board Support Packages (BSP), vendor release integration, and platform upgrades.\n\nEmbedded Linux development.\n\nDocker, Kubernetes, or containerized development environments.\n\nInfrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.\n\nCloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\n\nBuild optimization and distributed build systems.\n\nArtifact repositories such as Artifactory or Nexus.\n\nSecurity hardening of engineering infrastructure.\n\nAI-assisted software development and DevOps automation.\n\nMonitoring and observability platforms.\n\nAcross Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
