The role requires the ability to do 3D molding and apply scientific approaches and analysis tools to create robust mechanical designs for volume mass production. Additional responsibilities include ensuring product features achieve cost, schedule, reliability, regulatory, and safety goals.\nYour Contribution:\n- Design, analyze, document, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies.\n- Play a key role in ensuring the final design meets quality and cost goals and achieves specifications of reliability, manufacturability, and functionality.\n- Partner with Manufacturing teams/Suppliers to ensure designs are optimized for mass production.\n- Resolve mechanical engineering issues and challenges.\n- Partner and collaborate with other worldwide functions to achieve seamless product development.\n- Launch the development and qualification of plastic tooling, including design debug.\nYour Qualifications and Skills:\n- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design/development of high-volume consumer electronic products.\n- Good knowledge of plastic, tooling, injection molding, assembly process, cosmetic finishes, and defect analysis.\n- Good 3D modeling skills.\n- Advanced knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.\n- Fluent prototyping skills.\n- Creative and self-motivated.\n- CAE is a plus. - Taking initiative in the job.\n- Experience in the injection-molded plastic industry and related consumer electronic products.\n- Good command of English writing and speaking, and the ability to make a file for presentations.\n- Good knowledge of metal punch tool structure and design is a plus.\n#LI-LZ1/51SZ/LP\nAcross Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
