We are looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer responsible for testing next-generation software used to customize gaming peripherals. In this role, you will be a critical member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with firmware, software, design validation, and marketing, to build test strategies, streamline SQA processes, and deliver top-quality products to customers.\nKey Responsibilities & Contributions\nTest Strategy Development: Formulate test strategies based on software requirements within an agile development environment.\nProcess Optimization: Streamline and improve SQA processes to increase overall team efficiency.\nTest Planning & Execution: Write test plans and test cases aligned with software functional specifications and marketing requirements using JIRA / ZEPHYR.\nIssue Debugging & Documentation: Identify, debug, and resolve issues, while managing comprehensive documentation for bugs and software defect tracking.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, design validation, and marketing throughout the product delivery cycle.\nMinimum Qualifications\nExperience: 5+ years of experience in a Software QA role.\nEducation: B.E. or M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n Software & Hardware QA: Hands-on QA experience across Web applications, Cloud services, Desktop applications, and Device-level testing (including USB and Wireless products).\n Firmware Testing: Direct experience testing firmware and the Software-Firmware (SW-FW) interface.\nTest Management: Expertise in creating test plans and test cases in JIRA / ZEPHYR.\nCode Coverage: Focus on testing toward achieving 75%+ code coverage using tools and scripting languages.\nCI & Environment Management: Comfortable with build processes, CI workflows, QA environment management, and version control tools like Git.\nDebugging Tools: Strong debugging skills with exposure to Chrome DevTools, loggers, Wireshark, or similar tools.\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nTest Automation: Basic knowledge of Python, Pytest, Selenium, Appium, or other scripting languages to support unit and automation testing.\nAPI Testing: Component-level API testing experience with tools such as Postman.\n Frontend Web Development: Working knowledge of JavaScript (JS).\n Platforms & Virtualization: Experience with cross-platform testing (Windows / Mac) and testing on virtual machines (VirtualBox).\n Build Systems & Hardware Protocols: Experience with build processes/tools like CMake, and working knowledge of USB / Bluetooth devices.\nAcross Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
