You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and well-tested applications, ensuring strong performance and stability. This role requires solid C++ and object-oriented programming expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to code quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to system integration, support production environments, and stay adaptable to evolving technologies and market demands.\nWhat You will be Doing:\nWork with team members to identify the best solution for meeting business requirements\n\nDeliver high quality market logic normalization code and configuration\n\nEnsure bug free software through automated regression testing, unit tests, and code reviews\n\nCollaborate with QA and Operations to ensure successful integration into test and production environments\n\nWhat You will Bring\nExperience with the full life-cycle software development experience\n\n2 years experience with C++\n\nStrong understanding of object oriented development\n\nSuperb interpersonal skills (written and oral)\n\nAbility to collaborate in a team focused environment\n\nExcellent analytical skills and a desire to tackle problems.\n\nAbility to thoroughly test and debug code using test driven development\n\nAbility to suggest/research new technologies and quickly adapt to change\n\nAbility to work with both Technical Architects and Product Owners in order to build to specification\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience developing on Linux\n\nExposure to Agile methodologies\n\nExperience with automated testing\n\nKnowledge of scripting languages Python, Unix or Powershell shell scripts desirable\n\nKnowledge of other languages such as JavaScript, Node.js\n\nExperience with real-time programming\n\nExperience with debugging multi-threaded applications\n\nKnowledge of/experience with design patterns\n\nA passion for continued learning and development\n\nUnderstanding of financial markets, market data\n\nLow Latency financial market data systems.\n\nLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
