We employ 25,000 people globally, more than half located in Asia Pacific.\nRole Description:\nThis is a great opportunity for a hands-on DevOps Engineers or Infrastructure Cloud Engineers with experience in cloud platforms (GCP). You will be tasked with transforming business requirements into robust cloud infrastructure solutions which forms the underlying foundation for all distributed systems and applications of the LSE Group.\nAs a Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will support and enhance our cloud environment, ensuring scalability, high availability, security, and cost-efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to drive cloud adoption and implement GCP standard methodologies.\nMain Responsibilities:\nGCP Infrastructure Design and Implementation:\n· Implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, VPC, and Interconnect.\n· Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and YAML configuration files.\nSecurity and Compliance\n· Apply GCP security best practices including IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud KMS, and Organization Policies.\nAutomation and DevOps Integration\n· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab pipelines.\n· Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and GitOps practices.\nNetworking and Hybrid Connectivity\n· Manage VPC networks, subnets, firewall rules and policies, Cloud NAT, and Private Google Access.\n· Implement networking features such as VPC Peering, Shared VPC, VPN, and Cloud Interconnect.\nAgile Practices and Teamwork Tools\n· Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).\n· Use Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation and teamwork.\nInnovation and Continuous Improvement\n· Stay current with GCP innovations and evaluate new services for potential adoption.\n· Propose and implement improvements to enhance performance, security, and developer experience.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience\n· Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP services.\nTechnical Skills\n· Good knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, VPC, Cloud Interconnect, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Network Connectivity Center (NCC), Workload Identity Federation (WIF).\n· Experience with Terraform and YAML for Infrastructure as Code.\n· Networking knowledge: VPC design, VPN, Cloud NAT, Interconnect, Peering, firewall rules and policies.\n· Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration (GKE).\n· Experience with Python for various applications.\n· Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.\nCertifications\n· Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or other relevant GCP certifications.\nSoft Skills\n· Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n· Communication and collaboration abilities.\n· Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.\nWe're proud to have been recognised as a Great Place to Work® in India ‘25\nCareer Stage:\nSenior AssociateLondon Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information:\nJoin us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
