Future deployments may include other cloud providers or on-premises environments, and the delivery and infrastructure patterns must support that flexibility from the beginning.\nThe focus of this role is making sure every component of the platform can be deployed, scaled, updated, and rolled back in a controlled and repeatable way - regardless of where it runs. This means owning CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, GitOps workflows, and container operations, and working closely with the Lead Engineer and SRE team to support both engineering velocity and operational stability.\nThis is a central role in how a strategic observability platform gets built, shipped, and operated across a global enterprise - with the chance to use the platform you help build to supervise the pipeline itself!\nWhat You will be Doing:\nDevelop, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all platform components, covering testing, validation, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment.\n\nImplement and evolve GitOps workflows, including branching strategy, environment promotion, approval gates, and rollback patterns.\n\nSupervise the health and performance of the delivery pipeline itself, using the observability platform where possible.\n\nEvaluate and introduce tooling improvements that increase deployment safety, pipeline reliability, and developer experience.\n\nInfrastructure and operations:\n\nManage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, including module design, remote state management, environment separation, and secrets handling.\n\nOperate container and orchestration infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, including stateful workloads such as ClickHouse and Redis.\n\nManage secrets securely across pipelines and environments, ensuring credentials are never stored in version control or state files.\n\nDevelop delivery and infrastructure patterns that work with Azure as the primary environment and remain portable to other cloud providers or on-premises deployments.\n\nCollaboration and improvement:\n\nPartner with the Lead Engineer on infrastructure build decisions and with the SRE team on operational runbooks and recovery procedures.\n\nMaintain clear documentation for deployment processes, environment configuration, and onboarding guides for new engineers.\n\nWhat You will Bring:\nExperience crafting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with ownership of the full pipeline from commit to production.\n\nInfrastructure-as-code with Terraform, including module design, state management, secrets handling, and environment separation.\n\nExperience with GitOps practices, including pull-request-driven deployments, environment promotion, and version-controlled configuration.\n\nContainer and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, including stateful workloads.\n\nSecrets management experience using tools such as HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or equivalent.\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure, with the ability to compose patterns that remain portable across providers or to on-premises environments.\n\nAbility to communicate clearly with engineering and SRE teams about pipeline design, deployment state, and operational risk.\n\nDesirable skills and experience:\n\nHands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, and identity and access management.\n\nExperience with on-premises Kubernetes deployments or hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure patterns.\n\nExperience with other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP, particularly where multi-cloud or provider-agnostic patterns were required.\n\nFamiliarity with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, ClickHouse, or Cribl from a deployment or operational perspective.\n\nExperience instrumenting CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure with observability tooling.\n\nExperience in a regulated, financial services, or large enterprise technology environment.\n\nCareer Stage:\nSenior AssociateLondon Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information:\nJoin us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
