LSEG’s ticker symbol is LSEG.\nROLE PROFILE:\nAs a Senior Associate, Lead DevOps Engineer in Markets Engineering, you will play a hands-on technical leadership role in designing, automating and operating resilient cloud, platform and application delivery capabilities. You will work across engineering, infrastructure, architecture and service teams to improve delivery automation, observability, operational readiness and production stability for business-critical services. The role suits an engineer who combines strong DevOps expertise with a collaborative, ownership-led attitude and a focus on secure, scalable and reliable outcomes.\nROLE SUMMARY:\nLead the design, automation and continuous improvement of DevOps capabilities that support Markets platforms and services.\nProvide hands-on technical guidance across CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud operations, observability, release automation and operational resilience.\nPartner with development, infrastructure, architecture, security and service teams to reduce risk, improve speed to market and support reliable production outcomes.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:\nTake ownership of operational issues, drive effective partner concern and resolution, and identify improvements that reduce incidents, technical debt and manual intervention.\nDesign, build and maintain automation to provision, configure and operate infrastructure and application services across cloud and on-premises environments.\nDevelop and enhance CI/CD pipelines that support secure, repeatable and efficient delivery from code commit through to production deployment.\nCreate reusable patterns, modules, scripts and templates that improve consistency across software delivery, infrastructure lifecycle and operational processes.\nIntegrate applications and platforms with monitoring, alerting, scheduling, backup, logging and service management capabilities to strengthen production readiness.\nSupport project and product teams from requirements through implementation, providing impact assessment, estimates, technical advice and risk insight.\nContribute to standards, documentation, training and mentoring so that engineering teams can adopt DevOps practices consistently and confidently. \nWHAT YOU'LL BRING:\nStrong hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud platforms and infrastructure automation, ideally in a large-scale enterprise or financial services environment.\nPractical knowledge of AWS or other major cloud providers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD tooling, source control and deployment automation.\nExperience with tools and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Artifactory, Datadog, scripting languages, observability platforms and service management processes.\nAbility to analyse complex technical problems, assess operational risk, design resilient solutions and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical partners.\nA collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor peers, influence engineering decisions and promote a “you build it, you run it” approach.\nDesirable experience includes financial markets, low-latency or highly regulated environments, security controls, secrets management and production support ownership.\nWHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN:\nA high-impact engineering role supporting resilient, secure and scalable technology across Markets.\nThe opportunity to shape DevOps standards, automation patterns and operational practices used by multiple engineering teams.\nA collaborative engineering environment where you can work hands-on, share expertise, mentor others and contribute to the continued transformation of LSEG Engineering.\nWe recognize that to attract the best talent, we need to be flexible and we are open to discussing work arrangements with you.
