This role will focus on extending and modernizing existing services and application, leveraging cloud technologies to realize business objectives, support growth with improve performance and efficiency.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nLeading a team of developers to develop innovative solutions to customer technology needs.\nDeveloping and maintaining compute platform for financial models to support both external and internal clients.\nMaintaining, designing, and setting up infrastructure to support various applications.\nMaintaining and improving the existing compute infrastructure - performance, quality and efficiency.\nDesign, present and collaborate with other teams on designing technical solutions to realize complex business and technical objectives.\nWorking experience with large scale data sources: relational or NoSQL.\nMigrating applications to cloud seamlessly so that there is no service disruption.\nEstimate timeline and resources for complex projects and collaborate with other teams to bring projects to the finish line.\nEstablish credibility & build deep relationships with senior technical staff to generate common understanding and relate their challenges to development strategy.\nWorking on products used by leading financial institutions world-wide.\nStrategic project involvement which will make a significant impact to the business bottom line.\nMinimum requirements:\n6+ years’ work experience\n2+ years’ experience in technical teams/projects leadership role.\n2+ years’ experience working with Linux/Unix environments.\n3+ years’ experience developing C/C++ enterprise solutions (services, databases, …).\nWorking experience with Python or other high-level languages required.\nGood Communication, organization, and coordination skills.\nDemonstrable experience working with distributed team - multi-site, multi time zone.\nExperience presenting with product teams, project collaborators.\nExperience in a software development lifecycle and delivery role\nExcellent programming skills in C/C++: Data Structures, networking, databases, services, …\nExperience building and deploying C/C++ services to cloud: K9S, Lambdas\nStrong analytical background and quantitative skills\nExperience with AWS OR Azure cloud technologies & tools a plus\nProficiency in English is a must\nKey relationships:\nReporting to Director of analytics technology application infrastructure.\nProduct Management and other key collaborators\nDevelopers and Development Management\nDevelopment teams that will consume/provide services & data.\nEngineers and support team.\nDesired skills:\nStrong analytical background and quantitative skills and fixed Income Market is a plus.\nWorking experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure is a plus.\nKnowledge of Fixed Income Securities/Markets is a plus.\nEducation / Certification:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science/Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields with high academic standing\nAzure/AWS technologies certification a plus\nCareer Stage:\nManagerCompensation/BenefitsInformation:\nLSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $170,000 - $283,300.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
