Your role is vital in designing, deploying, and maintaining resilient, scalable, and highly available systems. Collaboration with infrastructure teams, operations, and partners will be crucial in ensuring efficient performance and availability of our critical environments.\nKey responsibilities and accountabilities\nImplements, tunes, and conducts ongoing administration of infrastructure layer, including proposing application systems changes, better uses and improvements\nImproves the whole life cycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.\nDesign, implement, and regularly validate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BCP) strategies for network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and compliance with RTO/RPO objectives.\nManage and optimize network interconnect operations with cloud providers, telecom carriers, exchanges, and third-party partners, ensuring secure, resilient, and highly available connectivity\nLeads support services before they launch through activities such as system design consulting, developing features of the infrastructure platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews.\nProvides mentorship to other team members on handling availability and performance of critical services, on building automation to prevent problem recurrence, and on building automated responses for non-exceptional service conditions.\nMaintains services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.\nLeads sustainable and efficient incident response.\nScales systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, evolving evolve systems by advocating for changes that improve reliability and velocity.\nWrites highly optimized and accurate code for LCH SA and LSEG products and solutions.\nProactively continues to build and apply relevant domain knowledge that may relate to workflows, data pipelines, business policies, configurations and constraints.\n Supports essential processes while ensuring high quality standards are met.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nAssess, plan, design, and implementation of the network infrastructure (DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Firewalls, Network, Load balancers, Time protocol, DNS, proxy) as a highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions to support our critical applications and services.\nCapacity planning and troubleshooting of the network applications products, infrastructure, and services.\nMonitoring and observability of the network applications products infrastructure.\nSource code management and development.\nLeverage testing environments using industry practices for pre-testing changes and proof of concept.\nTroubleshoot and resolve customer networking issues across the network (cloud & on-premises networks).\nOn-call rotation shifts\nYou'll bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nExperience (at least 5 years) as a Network Engineer, SRE or similar role, with a focus on managing and maintaining Network infrastructure in regulated and or highly available environment.\nExperience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.)\nExperience with VMware, Cisco Switches, Network Security and Knowledge in many of the following Cloud Networking technologies: IS-IS, VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, Network Virtualization (at least 5 years).\nExperience on VMware technology (at least 2 years),\nExpertise in cloud AWS, Azure, Google technologies will be a plus (at least 3 years),\nExpertise (at least 3 years) in scripting languages (Python, Bash), and on automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef),\nExpertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous,\nExperience on operating in a regulated environment with specific security constraints (at least 2 years).\nExperience on Systems Monitoring and Capacity Management (at least 5 years).\nAdheres to applicable risk control frameworks, policies and procedures.\nAbout London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG)\nLSEG’s vision is to be the most trusted authority in global financial markets.
