This involves crafting, modifying, and deleting user and group accounts, managing permissions and access rights, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry benchmark.\nRole summary:\nWe are looking for a Security Engineer who will perform administrative tasks relating to the design, implementation and maintenancewithin the AD, to protect LSEG.\nKey responsibilities and skills required for this role:\nThe Security Engineer will contribute to the effective operation of the GSAC processes by accepting ownership of service requests for support and to ensure they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction within agreed service levels, promoting customer confidence and satisfaction\nWork within the GSAC team on a shift pattern which includes a 24/7/365 Rota.\nAccept requests for support by telephone, email and the ServiceNow system.\nPerforming all relevant Security and Access control requests in a timely fashion whilst maintaining accuracy\nRecord every request for support, ensuring these records meet published support and Incident Management guidelines.\nAssess the impact of each request and take appropriate action.\nAssign requests to appropriate internal or third-party support groups where required\nProactively monitor the progress of each request and escalate where required.\nInform customers of the status and progress of their requests regularly via ticket updates\nEnsure incident records are updated regularly with events and action plans\nEnsure customers are satisfied before resolving their requests\nMaintain the GSAC documentation and knowledge bases\nAssist and help in the identification of Problems\nUndertake any other duties as may be required by LSEG management on an ad-hoc basis\nUnderstanding of the ITIL / ITSM methodologies\nGood understanding of Microsoft Windows core technologies is essential.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nUser Account Management\n\nGroup Management\n\nAccess Control & Permissions\n\nMonitoring and Reporting\n\nSecurity and Compliance\n\nDocumentation and Process Improvement\n\nWhat you'll bring:\nVery good Active Directory Knowledge in an Enterprise environment - Hierarchy / management group design, deployment, configuration and BAU support.\nExperience with all aspects of AD user and group Management\nMust be excellent liaising with customers\nGood document authoring skills\nExperience working in an enterprise environment with strong change control practices\nKnowledge of Windows Server Technologies e.g. Service accounts and policies restricting their use through Group membership and GPO\nExperience with ServiceNow (OSM) as the primary ITSM tool.\nWorked with Power BI, Power Apps, proficient in Excel\nSelf-motivated and self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team.\nAbility to learn new concepts and products with ease.\nAbility to think quickly and look for alternative solutions in complicated situations.\nWhat you’ll get in return:\nWe recognise that to attract the best talent, we need to be flexible, and we are open to discussing work arrangements with you.
