Risk Engineering and be responsible for the development of critical financial services such as World-Check One, Screening and Due Diligence\nYou will be a member of software engineering team who designs software solutions from the ground up, making high-level decisions about each stage of the process and directing a team of engineers to build the final product. You will need to demonstrate significant experience as a software engineer. You will need to have the technical expertise and leadership to encourage and influence technology strategy for the business and partner with the business to bring value through the application of ground-breaking technologies and through innovation within the LSEG ecosystem.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:\nBuild Logical, Physical, Implementation and Process Solution Architecture designs where required.\n\nBe responsible for cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture design for the application.\n\nThrough understanding of cloud native architecture and principles.\n\nOptimise cost of cloud solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management and autoscaling\n\nSupport DevOps team with CICD automation\n\nSupport application development teams in negotiating governance, privacy gates, compliance and risk analysis.\n\nAbility to lead production issue RCA and resolution\n\nWork with Product Owners and Business Analysts providing them with conceptual ideas of how solutions can be designed, at what cost and high-level timescales.\n\nOwn, champion and lead all aspects of key quality of service requirements implementation for availability, recovery, reusability, performance, maintainability, security, capacity, and compatibility.\n\nPartner with Solution Architects to produce where required:\nDomain/business logic model design\n\nInteroperability design such as API and Messaging\n\nData model design\n\nPartner with the Infrastructure team to produce physical architecture designs.\n\nPair design with other Application Architects and Technical leads.
