You will act as a technical expert, working closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, security, and architecture teams to support reliable and scalable data platforms.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on database professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving platform resilience, and driving continuous improvement across database operations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAdminister, maintain, patch, and upgrade enterprise database platforms.\nMonitor database availability, health, performance, and capacity.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents and performance issues.\nDesign and implement backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.\nPerform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.\nSupport disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness.\nImplement database security controls, access management, auditing, and encryption.\nCollaborate with application teams to review database changes and improve application performance.\nSupport database migrations, modernization, automation, and platform improvement initiatives.\nMaintain database standards, documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.\nParticipate in incident, problem, and change management processes.\nMentor junior database administrators and act as an escalation point for complex issues.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong experience as a Database Administrator in an enterprise environment.\nDeep knowledge of one or more database technologies, such as: Microsoft SQL Server Oracle Database PostgreSQL MySQL / MariaDB MongoDB Azure SQL Database AWS RDS / Aurora Google Cloud SQL\nStrong understanding of database architecture, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.\nExperience with backup and restore strategies, disaster recovery, replication, clustering, and high availability.\nGood understanding of database security, access control, encryption, auditing, and compliance requirements.\nExperience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools.\nFamiliarity with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.\nScripting or automation experience using tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, SQL scripting, or infrastructure-as-code.\nStrong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and support critical production environments.\nNice to Have\nExperience with cloud database platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nExperience with database migration, consolidation, or modernization projects.\nKnowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated database deployments.\nExperience with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, SolarWinds, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.\nRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle DBA, AWS Database Specialty, or equivalent.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou will help ensure that our database platforms are secure, stable, performant, and ready to support business growth.
