The group develops the technology platforms supporting key products including Connected Risk, World Check, and products in the Risk Managed Services space. Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component to meet agreed business needs.\nMain Responsibilities / Accountabilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on requirements or User Requirements\nDevelop software using well-adapted software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software good practice guidelines, and corporate policies.\nLead group of engineers working with the scrum master and management to coordinate and deliver larger developments.\nEnsure that there is a focus on software quality through effective testing, doing what is required to provide a framework for teams to understand the quality of our developments.\nWork closely with the QA team to ensure that code is developed to a high quality, evidenced through automated testing.\nProvide technical support to operations or other development teams\nBuild, review, and maintain all required user documentation to ensure supportability and reuse\nReview work of peers and more junior developers.\nAssist with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow.\nParticipate in project planning sessions with team members toanalyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work.\nActively participate in team and status meetings, providing timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisor\nKey Relationships:\nDevelopment Manager / Scrum Master.\nBusiness Analysts.\nAgile team members.
