We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.\nBy processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.\nAbout the role:\nThe HR Advisor provides first-line HR support and advice to managers and employees, managing employee relations (ER) casework and ensuring HR policies, processes, and employment legislation are applied fairly and consistently. This role plays a key part in the day-to-day delivery of HR services, supporting all aspects of our employees lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities:\nManage employee relations cases, including sickness absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance and probation matters.\nSupport ER investigations, conflict resolution, return-to-work processes and Occupational Health referrals.\nCoach and advise managers on HR policies, procedures and consistent policy application.\nCoordinate drug and alcohol testing, absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.\nMaintain accurate HR data and manage employee lifecycle processes in collaboration with HR Administration and Payroll.\nPrepare ER, absence and monthly Board reports, providing insights for the HR Generalist and Head of HR.\nSupport recruitment needs, HR projects, employee engagement initiatives and HR policy reviews.\nRequirements\nStrong ER case management\nExcellent communication and coaching skills\nSolid understanding of UK employment law\nStrong attention to detail and documentation\nAbility to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment\nUnderstanding of HRIS\nD365
