In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a growing design team, working with Electrical and General Contractors, as well as Developers and owners - in designing and budgeting code compliant lighting and control systems. This position will require strong communication skills, electrical knowledge, Computer Design software experience, and a drive to help structure a successful/profitable design group from the ground up.\nResponsibilities:\nWork with the Sales team and its customers to understand project goals and requirements.\nRequest, organize, and manage all available project documentation.\nDesign, takeoff, create project deliverables, and submittals using Lonestar CAD standards and common practices.\nUtilize CRM to input Bill of Materials into our system to quote or price within Lonestar Stock or with Lonestar Vendor Partners.\nDeliver all quotes and project design submittals to client timely.\nMaintain pricing updates for Projects and communicate to client regularly.\nAnswer and respond to all client inquiries.\nParticipate in project meetings, both in-person and virtually. \nProgramming and troubleshooting of Lighting Control Systems.\nField visits to obtain or communicate project design specifications.\nPerform other related duties as requested by supervisor or manager\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s or associate Degree in related field: design or electrical. \nIndustry Experience preferred but not required, Lighting and Lighting Controls. \nFamiliarity and Confidence with Computer Aided Design software and drafting standards, AutoCAD/Agi32. \nExperience using Bluebeam. \nFamiliarity with Excel. \nAbility to interface with the customer on a professional and personal level. \nResponsive and passionate about customer service. \nAbility to manage an email account in Outlook. \nHighly adaptable and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. \nOwn project design from start to finish independently. \nCoordinate multiple projects with various entities at one time. \nAbility to manage and support multiple client accounts and standards.\nFocused on meeting deadlines. \nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently. \nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.\nBenefits\nMedical,
