In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our products to customers while complying with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will also play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, have a strong desire to provide superior customer service, and be committed to exceeding customer goals and expectations.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely operate and maintain DOT-regulated delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.\nConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations, ensuring the vehicle is in proper working condition.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date DOT logs, including Hours of Service (HOS) records, using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) or manual logs as required.\nAssist in loading and unloading of products from delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with weight restrictions and load securement regulations.\nEnsure all products are properly secured and protected during transportation.\nPerform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and general cleanliness, while ensuring compliance with DOT maintenance requirements.\nAssist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and shelving of products.\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, including DOT regulations and traffic laws.\nProvide excellent customer service, including timely and professional communication with customers.\nReport any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to management, following DOT guidelines.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust be 25 years of age. \nClean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.\nMinimum 18 months of experience in commercial driving and delivery, with a strong knowledge of DOT regulations.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nFamiliarity with GPS navigation systems.\nAbility to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug test.\nPhysical Requirements:\nOccasionally works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include heat and humidity.\nNoise level may be loud at times.\nMust be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
