They will also drive and promote our passion to MAKE IT HAPPEN!\nResponsibilities:\nOversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.\nResponsible for ensuring safety is first and safety policies and procedures are followed.\nRecruits, hires and trains new warehouse employees.\nHandles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.\nEnsures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.\nCompletes all required management reports.\nExecutes maintenance activities when needed.\nResearches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.\nAttends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.\nResolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.\nEnsures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nRequirements:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nExceptional supervisory and interpersonal skills.\nThorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.\nThorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies and procedures. \nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.\nAt least seven years of related experience in a warehouse setting.\nPrior supervisory experience required. Ideally 2-5 years. \nElectrical Supply Distribution experience preferred.\nExperience with Epicor Eclipse ERP System a plus. \nPhysical Requirements:\nLifting up to 40 lbs. may be required infrequently. \nRegularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity. \nNoise level may be loud at times. \nMust be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
