This is a hands-on role that blends solution architecture, presales leadership, and delivery oversight, working with clients on complex transformation initiatives.\nA Day in the Life:\nWorking with customers and internal stakeholders, defining customer solutions, and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements\nContinuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team\nEnsure technology designs and implementations solve clients’ requirements and challenges\nDesign, and implement standard or custom technical solutions\nDevelop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offerings, considering all aspects of architecture including business and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security and recovery items\nCreate relevant documentation as required including conceptual design, logical and physical designs, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information\nCollaborate with other team members to develop and enhance deliverables\nProvide pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education as required\nMeet with clients to determine needs and/or identify problem areas\nDevelop estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals which outline professional services required to meet client requirements\nRepresent Long View at vendor and industry events as required\nParticipate and contribute including sharing learnings and information with the larger Long View team that is not present at the event\nAssist with hosting presentations and/or education sessions such as Lunch & Learns\nAlign with clients to build long term relationships that further business value for both the client and Long View\nAnalyze complex requirements and develop IT strategies and multi-technology solutions that are aligned with industry-accepted best practices\nStay abreast of architectural and industry changes, especially in the areas of Cloud\nWhat You Bring:\n10+ years in enterprise solution architecture, consulting, or senior engineering roles with a strong infrastructure technology stack focus (compute, storage, database, containers, serverless, migrations)\nPossess and demonstrate experience in architecting and implementing industry leading technologies and solutions at an enterprise level.\nExpertise in managing client requirements through strong business and technical consulting skills and be proficient in creating complex multi-technology solutions across multiple architecture domains.\nWork with multiple business units, service delivery practices, and technical disciplines to lead opportunities from pre-sales through to successful implementation and conclusion, and hand-off to operational support or PS delivery. \n5+ years of industry experience multi-technology solutions through diverse business and technical consulting\nDesign and implement Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI) solutions, including highly available hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), compute, storage, and networking.\n\nArchitect integration with Azure Arc, Azure management services, identity, monitoring, security, and governance to enable centralized management of on-premises infrastructure.\nLead the assessment, planning, and migration of workloads from VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix and traditional datacenters to Azure Local, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption.\nDesign resilient architectures incorporating clustering, fault tolerance, backup, disaster recovery, network security, and business continuity best practices.\nLead end-to-end solution delivery, including hardware sizing, capacity planning, architecture documentation, proof of concepts, deployment standards, troubleshooting, and collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.\nAbility to effectively communicate to different audiences including stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats and situations\nProven pre-sales capabilities and technological leadership experience\nProven ability to understand and capture complex business requirements to create technical solutions\nFamiliarity with IT architecture principles and industry frameworks to work within the approved Long View Systems architecture frameworks and methodologies\nProfessional services consulting experiences\nExcellent problem-solving and multitasking skills\nWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:\nTechnical Certifications for Microsoft Azure\nTechnical Certifications from Citrix, Nutanix, VMWare\nTOGAF Certified\nWhy Work at Long View:\nGreat people and culture\nComprehensive benefits package from day one\nCareer growth -
