In this role, you will focus on strategic initiatives for Long View’s clients. Utilizing your strong technical and management consulting skills, you will solve business challenges and drive business outcomes across the full lifecycle of end-to-end data platforms, including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake. You will perform strategic business solutions sales, solutioning, art-of-the-possible workshops, demos, and envisioning sessions with our clients.\nA Day in the Life:\nPartner closely with the Practice Director of Data Modernization to craft and curate a portfolio of highly differentiated practice solutions\n\nDevelop strategies and execute meticulously on plans to achieve targets outlined in the succinct one-page plan\n\nLead the design and architecture of Data Platform Frameworks\n\nEnsure frameworks are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry’s best practices\n\nProvide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and clients\n\nGuide and lead the strategic sales process from inception to closure including authoring essential documents such as proposals, RFPs, RFIs, and contracts\n\nWork closely with Marketing, Sales, and Digital Architects to identify growth opportunities\n\nProactively cultivate a pipeline of potential deals, ensuring the delivery of territory revenue targets\n\nParticipate actively and contribute insights to the larger Long View team, especially when you’re not physically present at events\n\nHost presentations and educational sessions as needed, sharing your expertise and learnings\n\nLead and mentor a team of data solution architects, engineers, and consultants\n\nMonitor team utilization, capacity, and workload distribution, ensuring resources are aligned with client and business needs\n\nConduct adhoc code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices\n\nEngage with other practices within the organization to develop and bring unique products and capabilities to market that complement Business Applications and Data Modernization’s services and technologies\n\nWhat You Bring:\n10+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert, as a Solutions Architect for data platforms (data engineering and data architecture).\n\n5+ years of experience selling complex solutions that create business outcomes.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate with different audiences including internal and external stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral and various presentation formats and situations.\n\n5+ years of experience delivering within the Agile/Scrum framework.\n\nProficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions).\n\nSelf-motivation and drive, always looking for ways to improve skills and stay relevant in given area of expertise.\n\nAbility to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for client solutions.\n\nWhat Makes You Extra Awesome:\nPassionate about total customer satisfaction and creating great client experiences\n\nSelf-motivated with lots of initiative to be pro-active in your role\n\nInterested in and knowledgeable about current news, problems, changes, and updates relevant to the data user community and/or your area of specialization within Long View\n\nCommitted to Long View’s four core values: Integrity, Competence, Value and Fun\n\nDedicated to ongoing professional development\n\nWilling to assist in other areas of the business\n\nWhy Work at Long View:\nGreat people and culture\n\nCareer growth -
