The Logistics & Compliance Analyst is responsible for driving supply chain performance through the integration of demand planning, advanced analytics, continuous improvement, and digital innovation. Acting as a strategic partner to Supply Chain leadership, the role transforms data into actionable insights, identifies opportunities for operational optimization, and supports the adoption of AI-driven solutions that enhance decision-making, efficiency, and business performance. The position serves as a catalyst for innovation, helping build the processes, capabilities, and tolls required to support a more data-driven and digitally enabled supply chain organization.\nAccountabilities:\nDemand Planning & Forecasting:\nSupport demand planning activities through forecast analysis, trend identification, and performance measurement.\nMonitor forecast accuracy and identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness.\nDevelop reporting and analytical tools to support inventory, service level, and replenishment decisions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into planning insights and recommendations.\nDesign, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.\nAnalyse large and complex datasets to identify opportunities for cost reduction, inventory, optimization, waste reduction, and service improvement.\nUtilize SQL, Excel, Python, and other analytical tools to automate reporting and generate actionable insights.\nPresent findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership teams.\nContinuous Improvement & Process Optimization\nIdentify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency, productivity, accuracy and service levels.\nSupport root cause analysis and corrective action plans for recurring operational issues.\nDocument and standardize processes, best practices, and governance frameworks.\nParticipate in Supply Chain transformation initiatives and strategic projects.\nAI, Automation & Digital Enablement\nChampion the adoption of AI and Microsoft Copilot capabilities within the Supply Chain team.\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive processes, reporting, and analysis activities.\nDevelop and document AI-enabled workflows, tools, and business use cases.\nSupport training, change management, and knowledge-sharing activities to build AI literacy across the team.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that drive business value and operational effectiveness.\nLeverage Microsoft Copilot to analyze supply chain data, interact with enterprise information sources, accelerate root cause analysis, supporting forecasting activities, and develop scalable AI-enabled business solutions.\nSupplier Performance & Service Management\nMonitor supplier service performance, including OTIF (On Time In Full), fill rates, product availability, and order compliance.\nServe as a primary point of contact for suppliers regarding service-related inquiries, performance issues, shortages, late deliveries, and supply concerns.\nCommunicate professionally and effectively with vendor through email, meetings, and performance reviews to resolve service issues and drive improvements.\nInvestigate and resolve supplier performance issues by conducting root causes analysis and coordinating corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain supplier performance reporting, scorecards, and service metrics to support business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with Merchandising, Distribution, Replenishment, and vendors to improve product availability and overall supply chain performance.\nStakeholder Partnership\nCollaborate closely with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, Finance and IT teams.\nAct as a subject matter resource for Supply Chain analytics, reporting, and optimization initiatives.\nBuild strong relationships across the organization to align improvement opportunities with business objectives.\nHealth and Safety\nPromotes and endorses Safety Vision “Safety is our way of life”.\nObserves and support Longo’s Safe Work guidelines and other safe work practices.\nRole models the importance of health and safety by always working safely and calls out and addressed and safety issues.\nRecognizes risks which may pose a danger to Team Members Manages difficult conversations and performance discussions constructively to achieve positive business outcomes.\nKnowledge, Skills & Credentials:\nPost-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Business Analytics functions, including practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to support forecasting, inventory optimization, reporting, process automation, and business decision-making.\nStrong knowledge of Supply Chain planning principles, forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and retail replenishment processes.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modelling, and reporting.\nWorking knowledge of SQL required, with the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets.\nExperience with business intelligence and visualization tools preferred.\nPython programming knowledge for data analysis, automation, and reporting is an asset.\nExperience using ERP systems, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain planning systems.\nDemonstrated experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot and other AI technologies to improve productivity, automate workflows, generate business insights, and support data-decision making.\nAdvanced understanding of Microsoft Copilot capabilities, including prompt engineering, workflow automation, data analysis, content generation, and integration with Microsoft 365 applications and enterprise data sources.\nExperience utilizing AI-enabled solutions to interact with, analyze, and extract insights from large datasets, databases, reporting environments, ERP systems, and supply chain planning platforms.\nProven ability to identify, develop, and implement AI use cases that deliver measurable business value through process optimization, forecasting improvements, automation, or operational efficiencies.\nCertification in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Lean Six Sigma, APICS CPIM, CSCP, or related disciplines are an asset.\nExperience in grocery retail, consumer package goods (CPG), distribution, or related industries is preferred.\nStrong written communication skills with the ability to professionally manage supplier correspondence and service-related escalations.\nWorking Conditions:\nWork is performed in a standard office environment with participation in meetings.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a changing retail landscape with deadlines.\nWill require extensive analysis of data on the computer for long periods of time.\nWe may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support efficiencies in the candidate screening, assessment, and recruitment processes.
