In this strategic role, you will work closely with business and functional leaders to identify, shape, build, and scale AI products that deliver measurable business outcomes. You will own the product lifecycle from opportunity identification and prioritization through delivery, adoption, scaling, and retirement, partnering with the AI Factory, technology teams, and business stakeholders to maximize value creation.\nThis role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Our full list of tailored local benefits can be found below.\nBenefits in Basel: https://media.ffycdn.net/eu/lonza-group-ag/d/5c78e3b906804b0cb6710009ab5507de?updated\nWhat you'll do:\nPartner with business and functional leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI opportunities that deliver measurable business impact.\nOwn the end-to-end AI product lifecycle, including strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, delivery, adoption, scaling, and retirement.\nTranslate business challenges into scalable AI products and use cases that enhance efficiency, innovation, and decision-making.\nLead cross-functional collaboration between business stakeholders, AI specialists, data teams, IT, and external partners to ensure successful product delivery.\nEstablish product management best practices, including governance, success metrics, value realization tracking, and portfolio management.\nDrive user adoption and change management activities to maximize the value and scalability of AI solutions across the organization.\nEnsure AI products comply with responsible AI principles, data governance requirements, security standards, and regulatory expectations.\nWhat we're looking for:\nMaster's degree in Business Strategy, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.\nSignificant experience in AI product management, digital product leadership, or technology-driven business transformation within complex organizations.\nProven ability to take AI products from concept to implementation, driving adoption, scalability, and measurable business value.\nStrong understanding of AI, Generative AI, product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and portfolio prioritization.\nExperience working across business, data, technology, and engineering teams, with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nKnowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, data management, security, and compliance requirements.\nExperience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, CDMO, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
