Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelopment Services encompasses three technical disciplines with associated support functions to develop processes to enable manufacture of recombinant protein therapeutics. This role will be available in the Cell Culture Development whom one is responsible for the development of cell culture process.\nDuties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAdherence to EHS rules and regulations is required at all times\nDocument results in accordance with Lonza policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)\nEnsures compliance with Quality and GxP requirements by adhering to established quality systems and applicable regulatory standards in all activities.\nUpholds data integrity principles in accordance to Lonza policies. Proactively evaluates, identifies and improves data integrity process.\nGeneral laboratory support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, etc.\nWith support from Manager/Study Lead performs the following activities with high levels of RFT: Cell culture\nPlans and prioritizes laboratory work with input from manager\nDrafts laboratory records aligned with training plan.\nTroubleshooting equipment issues and an interest in operational efficiency\nAny other duties assigned\nWhat we're looking for:\nDegree in a relevant Science field or equivalent\nIndividual without prior working experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry may also apply\nUnderstanding of the application of mammalian cell culture for the production of biopharmaceuticals\nUnderstanding of cGMP regulations\nGood problem solving and anlytical skills\nGood communication and teamwork skills\nCompetencies\nDecision Making\nPlanning/Organizing\nEffective Communication\nPersonal Orientation\nTeamwork\nCustomer focus\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
