The role combines strategic business development, market analysis, and hands-on deal execution, including outreach, negotiations, due diligence, and contract finalization. Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role-related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.\nWhat you will do:\nIdentify, develop, and execute new partnering and out-licensing opportunities, including preparation and negotiation of term sheets, quantitative analyses, contract negotiations, and execution of definitive agreements.\nPlan and execute comprehensive partnering outreach campaigns and actively manage and track the global business development pipeline. \nBuild, maintain, and further develop trusted relationships with new and existing partners through effective communication and cultural awareness. \nMonitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and relevant companies and therapeutic areas to inform business development strategy. \nPresent and pitch Lonza Oss technology platforms to prospective partners and collaborators. \nCollaborate closely with the Head of Commercial Development (ADS Licensing) and senior site and business leadership in the development and execution of business development plans, negotiations, and due diligence activities.\nWhat we are looking for:\nMaster’s degree in the field of Life Sciences or equivalent\n7 - 10 years relevant work experience (Life Science, CDMO, Biotech, Pharma)\nAbility to navigate complex licensing discussions and technical information. \nStrong relationship building skills and commercial acumen.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong analytical capabilities (qualitative & quantitative). \nAbility to influence stakeholders thoughtfully using logic and supporting data. \nAbility to represent ADS Licensing credibly with senior external stakeholders. \nComfort working autonomously and cross functionally.\nAbility to travel globally for partner meetings and internal alignment.\nValid passport required for business travel.\nAbout Lonza\nLonza Oss is a biotech company with a clinical-stage platform technology that enables best-in-class antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), bispecific antibodies and other targeted therapeutics under a technology out-licensing business model.\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
