Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career with opportunities for professional growth in a global life sciences organization.\n\nA collaborative, inclusive, and ethical workplace where diverse perspectives are valued.\n\nCompetitive compensation and recognition programs that reward high performance.\n\nAccess to a wide range of local and global benefits, depending on role and location.\n\nOpportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and automation.\n\nThe full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, implement, and validate MES recipes and DeltaV control strategies that support robust and compliant biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.\n\nPartner closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Automation, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure seamless system integration and operational excellence.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve MES and DeltaV system issues, minimizing production disruptions and supporting reliable plant operations.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, work instructions, and validation records in accordance with GMP requirements.\n\nSupport end users through training, technical guidance, and ongoing system expertise.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, automation strategies, and system performance.\n\nContribute to the implementation of new technologies and digital manufacturing solutions that enhance productivity, compliance, and operational efficiency.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nExperience working in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ideally including Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, or comparable platforms.\n\nExperience with Emerson DeltaV or other distributed control systems used in process manufacturing.\n\nUnderstanding of GMP regulations, computerized system validation, and qualification activities in regulated industries.\n\nAbility to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.\n\nA degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating these capabilities.\n\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
