And that is the kind of work we want to be part of.\nOur Bioprocess Engineer USP will take over and manage the operational activities of assigned manufacturing projects with overall responsibility of standardization equipment/systems at Up Stream- (USP) within the Business Unit, Manufacturing Complex 2 (6x20kL Large Scale Mammalian).\nKey responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement MC2 standardization equipment strategy and roadmap in alignment with local (site Visp) and global Lonza SU strategy.\nLead multi-disciplinary project teams as functional lead for all manufacturing aspects of assigned projects.\nEnsure a high level of technical and process standardization within the production plant.\nWork as production expert in capital investment projects for building and commissioning of manufacturing units.\nImplement state of the art GMP documents and regulatory requirements for corresponding SU assets and products. \nKey requirements:\nBSC/MSc plus respectively > 5/3 years’ experience within the biotechnology industry.\nExcellent biotechnology expertise and/or knowledge in biotechnical engineering preferable in the area of mammalian cell culture and primary capture operations.\nPractical experience with stainless steel and Single Use Systems.\nStrong leadership and very good communication skills through interaction with all kinds of interfaces within and outside the organization; strong team orientation. \nStructured problem solving skills (Lean Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt), focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; high motivation and dynamic drive; solution-oriented.\nExpert Delta V and/or Syncade Emerson systems.\nDeviation / investigations including RCA\nChange Management\nFluent in German and/or English; advanced GMP understanding.\nEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
