You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nA variety of benefits dependent on role and location.\nThe full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits.\nWhat you will do:\nConduct in-depth research on emerging biotech companies, target accounts, and market trends across China's key biotech hubs.\nIdentify, engage, and build relationships with prospective customers and industry consultants through targeted outreach and networking activities.\nQualify prospects and convert them into high-quality leads for Business Development Managers.\nFollow up on marketing-generated leads and nurture opportunities to support new business growth.\nCollaborate with Market Intelligence, Technical Sales, Commercial Development, and Licensing teams to ensure full alignment and effective communication of Lonza's technologies and value propositions.\nSupport conference and trade show planning and execution, including target account selection, meeting coordination, and on-site engagement.\nDrive lead generation and increase awareness of Lonza's biologics, advanced synthesis, and specialized modalities capabilities through conferences, market intelligence, industry databases, and digital channels.\nWhat we are looking for:\nUnderstanding of drug development, biologics, or related pharmaceutical industries.\nExperience in technical sales, business development, research and development, or customer-facing scientific roles.\nStrong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.\nExcellent communication and presentation abilities, with confidence presenting complex concepts clearly.\nAbility to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.\nBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
