You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nOpportunities to work on global digital and data transformation initiatives.\nExposure to modern cloud technologies, data platforms, and analytics solutions.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace that values diverse perspectives.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nA variety of benefits dependent on role and location.\nThe full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, build, and enhance scalable data solutions that support operational, manufacturing, quality, and business processes globally.\nTranslate business and functional data requirements into robust technical architectures and solutions.\nDevelop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and transformation processes using Microsoft Azure technologies.\nCreate data products and reporting capabilities that enable analytics, KPI monitoring, and business decision-making.\nCollaborate with global stakeholders, architects, engineers, analysts, and product teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.\nContribute to data governance initiatives, including data quality, metadata management, lineage, and access controls.\nSupport continuous improvement through automation, modern engineering practices, and self-service data capabilities.\nWhat we are looking for:\nExperience designing and delivering enterprise data engineering or data solutions in complex business environments.\nStrong expertise in SQL development, SQL Server, database design, and data modeling.\nExperience working with Microsoft Azure data platform technologies and modern ELT/ETL practices.\nKnowledge of data architecture principles, data transformation, and data lineage management.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based development methodologies.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Relevant consulting or equivalent professional experience will also be considered.\nPreferred:\nMicrosoft Azure or Data Engineering certifications.\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric.\nExperience developing web-based applications using modern technologies and frameworks. \nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
