The role will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, strengthen business governance, and eliminate execution barriers to drive long-term growth for the ADS platform.\nThis is an office-first role. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).\nWhat you will get\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nA variety of benefits dependent on role and location.\nThe full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits.\nWhat you will do:\nStrategic Leadership\nLead execution of the China strategic agenda in partnership with regional and global leadership.\nTranslate enterprise strategy into regional business priorities, roadmaps and execution plans.\nIdentify strategic opportunities and business risks within the China market and recommend actions to leadership.\nBusiness Performance\nPartner with China leadership to improve operational performance, productivity and commercial execution.\nMonitor strategic KPIs and business performance, escalating risks and recommending corrective actions.\nPortfolio Leadership\nLead regional strategic initiatives including capacity expansion, digital transformation, productivity programs, customer experience improvements and operational excellence.\nDrive cross-functional execution of complex initiatives spanning manufacturing, engineering, commercial, quality, finance and supply chain.\nGovernance\nOwn governance forums for regional strategic programs and investment initiatives.\nEnsure decisions, actions and dependencies are effectively managed across leadership teams.\nRegional Representation\nRepresent China within the Global ADS PMO, ensuring regional priorities are reflected in global planning while driving alignment to enterprise objectives.\nOrganizational Development\nBuild PMO capability across the China organization through governance, standards, project methodologies and coaching of project leaders.\nExecutive Support\nDevelop executive-level business reviews, strategy updates, investment cases and Board-quality presentations for regional and global leadership.\nWhat we are looking for:\n10-15 years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, transformation or related fields \nExperience working within multinational matrix organizations\nExperience working within China or APAC\nStrong organizational and execution skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through\nProven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence across functions and leadership levels\nComfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity\nExperience building or improving PMO processes, governance structures, tools, or operational frameworks preferred\nAbility to balance structure and flexibility while driving measurable progress\nAdvanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required; familiarity with enterprise project management and collaboration tools preferred\nExperience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare, or other complex industries preferred\nBachelor’s degree in business or related discipline\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
