You will partner with employees, supervisors, and operational teams to promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement across site operations.\nWhat you will get\nThe opportunity to contribute to a strong safety culture that protects employees, the environment, and the community.\nExposure to a broad range of EHS programs and regulatory requirements in a biotechnology environment.\nOpportunities to collaborate with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and support teams.\nProfessional growth and development within a global life sciences organization.\nExperience supporting continuous improvement initiatives that have a meaningful impact on site performance.\nA collaborative and supportive work environment that values teamwork and innovation.\nThe satisfaction of supporting work that helps improve and save lives around the world.\nWhat you will do\nSupport day-to-day EHS activities through routine floor presence and engagement with manufacturing teams.\nAssist with implementing and administering EHS programs, policies, and procedures.\nConduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport incident reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and action tracking.\nMonitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, local, and company requirements.\nDeliver EHS training and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors.\nSupport environmental compliance activities, emergency preparedness, EHS reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat we are looking for\nBachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.\n1-3 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in Biotechnology, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, or another regulated environment.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nAbility to conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.\nStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.\nNew Hampshire Certified Hazardous Waste Coordinator certification preferred; State of New Hampshire EHS certifications are a plus.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
