Our full list of tailored local benefits in Visp can be found on: Benefits - Visp\nWhat you’ll do:\nExecute and lead MES DeltaV projects across all lifecycle phases, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.\nMaintain, optimize, and further develop MES standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with site and global guidelines.\nEnsure reliable operation, enhancement, and updating of MES DeltaV (formerly Syncade) systems, recognizing their direct impact on production processes and GMP-compliant documentation.\nCollaborate closely with Operations, QA, Automation, and IT/OT teams to ensure seamless system integration and high system availability.\nAnalyze and improve MES-related workflows, identifying opportunities for digitalization, efficiency gains, and data integrity improvements.\nCoordinate and manage external partners and vendors involved in MES or OT-related project and support activities.\nEnsure GMP-compliant execution of all MES and OT activities, including documentation, change control, and validation readiness.\nWhat we are looking for:\nCompleted university degree in Computer Science, Industrial IT/OT, Automation Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor level or higher).\nSignificant professional experience in IT/OT, MES DeltaV (formerly Syncade), or automation-related engineering roles within a regulated environment.\nSolid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working with validated production or automation systems.\nResponsibility for the MES lifecycle, including system operation, enhancements, release management, and interface coordination.\nStrong knowledge of OT networks, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), system architectures, and basic cybersecurity principles.\nFluent German or English (minimum B2 level) for effective collaboration with local and global stakeholders.\nStructured, independent working style with strong communication and problem-solving skills.\nWillingness to participate in on-call duty (Pikettdienst) 2-3 times per year.\nAbout Lonza:\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
