The position does carry a company cell phone for use on site as well as responding in emergency situations.\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\n\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\n\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\n\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance.\n\nOpportunities to build skills across multiple facility systems.\n\nThe full list of our global benefits can be found on lonza.com/careers/benefits\n\nWhat you will do\nPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC, exhaust fans, water, fire, and facility systems.\n\nComplete reactive maintenance and troubleshooting for building and utility equipment.\n\nCarry out general building repairs including doors, sinks, floors, walls, and painting.\n\nSupport grounds maintenance such as gates, signage installation, and site fixtures.\n\nCoordinate with contractors to support maintenance, repairs, and system improvements.\n\nMaintain accurate equipment records and keep work areas clean and orderly.\n\nSupport emergency response activities and provide backup coverage for team members.\n\n What we are looking for\nHands-on experience maintaining facility or building systems in an industrial or commercial setting.\n\nBasic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pump repair skills.\n\nFamiliarity with HVAC systems and refrigerant handling practices.\n\nAbility to follow safety procedures, permits, and documentation requirements.\n\nWillingness to work a 40-hour week, including weekends or holidays and working plant shutdowns when needed.\n\nTeam-oriented approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nReliable attendance on site as an essential function of the role.\n\nHigh School Diploma (Technical Degree Preferred)\n\nEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
