And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.\nThe Operational Excellence Lead is responsible for leading the continuous improvement of internal organizational processes to improve Quality, Safety, Productivity and Cost. They are a champion for continuous improvement teams and liaison to the corporate Operational Excellence network. This position reports directly to the Site Director and is responsible to support a multi-site campus.\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nMedical, dental and vision insurance.\nWhat you will do:\nOutline greater impact of this role.\nDetail elements of the team and stakeholders for this role.\nHighlight some of the more typical, day-to-day responsibilities.\nUse some of the responsibilities to hint at professional growth, including leadership, mentoring etc.>\nDevelops and leads the continuous improvement program from the analysis and determination of each of the strategic initiatives to the generation of the organizational benefit.\nStudies production processes to identify areas of opportunity that represent priority, aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.\nProgram improvement activities for waste reduction, increased productivity, optimization of processes and resources, ensuring product quality, economic savings, reduction of operating expenses, reduction of complaints and reduction of internal expenses.\nImplements and monitors productivity indicators including savings from project deliverables.\n Lead and facilitate Kaizen teams, focused on consistently improving critical areas and products.\nTrain workforce on tools and methodologies related to Continuous Improvement processes.\nCoach colleague led teams for continuous improvement initiatives.\nWorks closely with the corporate network sharing learnings from improvement projects and obtaining information on project results implemented in the other sites.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelors’ degree in Engineering required.\nAdvanced experience in engineering required.\nSome indirect supervisory experience preferred.\nGreen belt or higher certification preferred.\nLean Six Sigma experienced preferred.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \nAbility to manage teams and lead colleagues in the completion of goals.\nMust be able to interact with colleagues at all levels of the business.\nMust be able to make timely and sound business decisions.\nMust be able to work in intense situations, manage work stress and pressure.\nEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
