The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM EST.\nWhat you will get:\nBelow you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:\nPerformance-related bonus.\nMedical, dental and vision insurance.\n401(k) matching plan.\nLife insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance.\nEmployee assistance programs.\nPaid time off (PTO).\nCompensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.\nWhat will you do:\nAs a Logistics Specialist I - Shipping, you will support daily shipping and material movement activities while maintaining compliance with established procedures and quality standards.\nPerform SAP transactions including transfer order creation, material movements, and finished goods issuance.\nExecute shipping and logistics activities accurately and efficiently to support production and customer requirements.\nFollow established procedures and work instructions with strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.\nMaintain accurate logbooks and required documentation in accordance with departmental and GMP requirements.\nUtilize systems such as SAP, DMS, and TrackWise to complete daily tasks and maintain records.\nSupport inventory, shipping, and material handling activities within the warehouse and manufacturing environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.\nCollaborate with team members and support additional departmental responsibilities as needed.\nWhat we are looking for:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or a related environment preferred.\nBasic computer skills and ability to learn systems such as SAP, DMS, and TrackWise.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures accurately.\nAbility to maintain accurate records and complete documentation thoroughly.\nUnderstanding of or willingness to learn cGMP requirements and regulated work environments.\nStrong communication and listening skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.\nAbility to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing business needs, and support multiple responsibilities.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
