The Operator safely operates equipment, monitors processes, completes production documentation, and maintains a clean and compliant manufacturing environment.\nWhat you will do:\nPerform manufacturing operations for tablet and capsule products, including dispensing, blending, granulation, drying, milling, compression, encapsulation, and coating activities.\nSet up, operate, monitor, clean, and support changeovers of manufacturing equipment in accordance with approved procedures.\nConduct line clearances and verify materials, labels, equipment status, and documentation before production activities begin.\nFollow batch records, SOPs, cGMP requirements, and Good Documentation Practices while completing accurate production documentation.\nPerform in-process checks, collect samples, and monitor equipment and processes to ensure product quality and compliance.\nMaintain clean and compliant manufacturing areas while safely handling materials and following contamination-control and safety procedures.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, and adapt to changing production demands.\nWhat we are looking for:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.\nAbility to follow detailed procedures, manufacturing instructions, and accurately complete production documentation.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and experience operating manufacturing equipment.\nCommitment to following quality, cGMP, and safety requirements in a team-oriented environment.\nExperience with solid oral dosage manufacturing or equipment such as tablet presses, capsule fillers, blenders, granulators, mills, or coating systems preferred.\nFamiliarity with batch records, SOPs, line clearance, equipment cleaning, in-process testing, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP), with flexibility to work overtime or adjusted schedules as needed\nPreferred Experience:\nPrevious experience in solid oral dosage manufacturing.\nExperience operating tablet presses, capsule fillers, blenders, granulators, mills and coating equipment.\nExperience working in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with batch records, SOPs, line clearance, equipment cleaning, and in-process testing.\nExperience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.\nAbility to lift and carry 35lbs unassisted.\nAbility to push and pull materials and equipment within established safety limits.\nAbility to wear required PPE and pharmaceutical manufacturing garments for extended periods.\nAbility to work around manufacturing equipment and pharmaceutical materials, including fugitive dust, while following applicable safety and containment procedures.\nAbility to perform repetitive physical tasks associated with manufacturing operations.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
