This position serves as an experienced warehouse professional who ensures materials are handled safely, accurately, and in compliance with Lonza quality standards, cGMP requirements, and site procedures. The role may also provide guidance to less experienced team members and support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.\nThis is a fully site-based role. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nMedical, dental and vision insurance.\nWhat you will do:\nReceive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.\nPerform material movements between warehouse, production, laboratories, and staging areas.\nMaintain accurate inventory transactions within ERP and warehouse management systems.\nConduct cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and investigations of inventory discrepancies.\nEnsure proper storage conditions and stock rotation practices, including FIFO/FEFO requirements.\nPrepare, package, and coordinate outbound shipments in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.\nSupport production activities by staging and issuing materials according to manufacturing schedules.\nOperate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.\nComplete documentation accurately and in real time following GDP (Good Documentation Practices).\nMonitor inventory levels and communicate material shortages or risks to appropriate stakeholders.\nAssist with warehouse organization, cleanliness, and 5S initiatives.\nSupport internal and external audits and participate in corrective and preventive action activities.\nTrain and mentor junior warehouse personnel on processes, procedures, and safety practices.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements that enhance safety, accuracy, and efficiency.\nAdhere to all environmental health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.\nWhat we are looking for:\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 3-5 years of warehouse, materials handling, logistics, manufacturing support, or supply chain experience.\nExperience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food manufacturing, or chemical manufacturing preferred.\nExperience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory management systems.\nAbility to operate warehouse equipment and obtain forklift certification.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\nWorking knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.\nPrevious GMP, GDP, or regulated manufacturing experience.\nExperience supporting biologics, pharmaceutical, or cell and gene therapy operations.\nPrior experience serving as a lead, trainer, or subject matter expert within warehouse operations.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.\nAbility to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and controlled environments.\nMay require use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and gowning as required.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
