This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven finance professional to influence enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and control of finance operations across multiple businesses and geographies.\nWhat you will get\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance.\nA variety of benefits dependent on role and location.\nWhat you will do\nLead and support global, high-impact strategic initiatives within the Record-to-Report (R2R) process area, partnering closely with the Global Process Owner organization.\nDrive end-to-end process improvements across businesses and geographies, enhancing process efficiency, effectiveness, controls, and customer experience.\nCollaborate with Finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement sustainable process optimization opportunities.\nAnalyze operational and financial data to identify trends, develop hypotheses, and manage change initiatives through successful deployment.\nEstablish, maintain, and promote global R2R process standards, documentation, controls, and governance while addressing process deviations and control gaps.\nDevelop meaningful metrics and reporting to monitor process quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.\nDeliver training, share best practices, and act as a subject matter expert while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nWhat we are looking for\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nStrong experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, and Record-to-Report processes, with a proven track record in process improvement and operational excellence.\nProfessional accounting qualification such as CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent certification.\nExperience driving continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar approaches; Green Belt certification is advantageous.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and the ability to manage complex end-to-end process dependencies.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.\nTechnical aptitude in areas such as SQL, automation, workflow solutions, data analysis, or related technologies, combined with a hands-on, service-oriented, and collaborative approach.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
