And that is the kind of work we want to be part of.\nThe PMO Lead establishes and leads site-level portfolio governance, ensuring that local initiatives and global projects impacting the site are selected, prioritized and executed in line with defined standards. The role provides transparent portfolio information to support leadership decision-making, capacity planning and resource allocation.\nWorking closely with the Site Leadership Team, project sponsors, project managers, site functions and the Head of INB Ops PMO, the role manages portfolio risks, dependencies and escalations and supports the successful delivery of agreed business outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead site portfolio governance, including project intake, validation, prioritization, approval and periodic portfolio reviews\nMaintain an integrated site portfolio, covering local initiatives and global projects requiring site resources\nProvide accurate and timely visibility of portfolio status, milestones, financials, resource demand, risks, issues, dependencies and expected benefits\nFacilitate portfolio prioritization and scenario planning with the Site Leadership Team, based on strategic alignment, financial benefit and risk, if projects do not get completed\nCoordinate resource demand and capacity planning across site functions and escalate unresolved constraints\nEnsure projects follow the applicable project and portfolio management standards, governance requirements, stage gates and reporting routines\nIdentify and manage cross-project and cross-functional dependencies, risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and decision-making\nCoach project sponsors and project managers and coordinate site-level training on portfolio processes, governance standards and supporting systems\nDrive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, templates, data quality and reporting in alignment with the Head of INB Ops PMO\nRequirements:\nEducation: business, Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline\nExperience: advanced experience in Biologics GMP manufacturing with operational experience\nLeadership Skills: demonstrated ability to lead teams, get results, and promote collaboration across departments\nLanguage Skills: proficient in English and German\nAbility to work quickly and effectively and produce high-quality results in a flexible and changing environment while managing multiple activities and priorities\nMethodical and structured mindset with the ability to organize others\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to understand interdependencies\nAbility to work across functions & geographic regions\nAbility to self-educate in new areas\nEffective communication\nAbility to build cross-functional, diverse relationships\nEstablishing clear ownership and follow-through and intervenes when delivery, value or compliance is at risk\nInfluencing without direct authority, challenges constructively and establishes the PMO as a trusted site capability\nEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
