As part of our QC Physical Analytics team, you will take ownership of analytical testing, laboratory equipment, and the continuous improvement of our processes.\nWhat you will get:\nA diverse and rewarding role in a modern laboratory environment.\nMeaningful work with a direct impact on product quality and patient safety.\nAccess to modern technologies and analytical techniques.\nOpportunities for professional and personal development.\nA collaborative team culture built on openness, respect, and mutual support.\nWhat you will do:\nPerform, evaluate, and document physico-chemical analyses in compliance with cGMP requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal procedures.\nEnsure the timely and GMP-compliant execution of assigned testing activities.\nTake responsibility for designated laboratory equipment, including calibration, qualification, and associated documentation.\nSupport troubleshooting activities, deviation investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions.\nActively contribute to the development and optimization of laboratory processes, analytical methods, and workflows.\nSupport the onboarding and training of new team members and promote knowledge sharing within the team.\nParticipate in the on-call duty rota as scheduled.\nWhat we are looking for:\nCompleted apprenticeship or degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a comparable scientific discipline.\nInitial or several years of experience in Quality Control, ideally within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical manufacturing environment.\nExperience with physical and physico-chemical analytical techniques, such as:pH measurements\nKarl Fischer titration\nUV spectroscopy for protein concentration determination\nOsmolality and conductivity measurements\n\nStrong quality mindset and understanding of GMP and compliance requirements.\nStructured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.\nEnjoy working collaboratively and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.\nGood command of English and basic German skills.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
