The successful candidate will be a key member of the laboratory team contributing to the delivery of bioanalytical development stages. You will be responsible for performing a variety of bioanalytical techniques, critically interpreting and analysing data and supporting optimisation and troubleshooting of methods. The role also includes involvement in equipment maintenance, document management and safety compliance.\nThis is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture\n\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace\n\nCompensation programs that recognize high performance\n\nA variety of benefits dependant on role and location\n\nThe full list of our global benefits can be also found on https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits\n\nWhat you will do:\nWorking closely with study directors, execute experiments and critically analyse and interpret data to contribute to the establishment, pre-validation and development of bioanalytical methods such as SPR, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell-based methods.\n\nDraft internal and customer ready reports.\n\nSupport effective lab and department operations including equipment ownership and maintenance, documentation, buffer preparation and safety actions.\n\nSupport implementation of new assay technologies/continuous improvement projects.\n\nContribute to technical investigations/RCAs.\n\nMaintain high-quality documentation in line with quality management systems.\n\nTrain more junior members of the department as required.\n\nThis role is fully on-site.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nDegree or Master's qualification in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.\n\nLaboratory experience in analytical or bioanalytical techniques required.\n\nUnderstanding of bioanalytical methods.\n\nStrong planning and organisation to deliver work on time.\n\nEffective communication and collaboration with peers and teams outside the department to provide customers with the highest service.\n\nLogical and organised approach to problem solving.\n\nA proactive mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\n\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
