Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.\nWhat you will get:\nThe full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $93,000 - $155,000 USD. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:\nPerformance-related bonus\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\n401(k) matching plan\nLife insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance\nEmployee assistance programs\nPaid Time Off\nCompensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.\nWhat you will do:\nEnsure compliance with Lonza policies and international trade regulations by reviewing import/export transactions, customs documentation, and declarations.\nOptimize the cross-border movement of materials and products by auditing logistics processes, service provider activities, and trade documentation.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks related to trade compliance, customs requirements, supply chain disruptions, and Incoterms responsibilities.\nProvide operational oversight for shipments, including monitoring, tracking, issue resolution, and coordination with carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.\nDevelop and maintain local work instructions aligned with global policies, while educating internal stakeholders on trade compliance, SAP processes, transportation requirements, and regulatory expectations.\nManage and evaluate third-party logistics providers through performance reviews, KPI tracking, audits, and continuous service improvement initiatives.\nAnalyze logistics and trade data to identify efficiency opportunities, improve compliance, reduce risk, and support strategic decision-making across the supply chain.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.\nAdvanced experience in supply chain logistics, international transportation, and global trade compliance.\nStrong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs requirements, and applicable government agency regulations.\nDemonstrated ability to manage and improve international logistics operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.\nExperience analyzing logistics, trade, and compliance data to support risk mitigation, cost optimization, and operational improvements.\nProven success managing relationships with logistics service providers, including carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners.\nProfessional certifications such as APICS CLTD, import/customs compliance, or export regulatory certifications are preferred.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
