Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.\nThe primary responsibility of a Process Mechanic is to maximize equipment availability for processing by safely maintaining equipment through Preventive and Corrective maintenance and repairs.\nIn support of these activities, Process Maintenance provides personnel 24/7 support for maintenance, discrepancy response, contractor oversight, vendor resource management, project support and training. All Process Mechanics are trained to perform routine maintenance in the primary manufacturing support areas and Materials Management, Quality Control Labs, and Utility Operations.\nWhat you get\nThe full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $61,500 to $102,500. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:\nPerformance-related bonus\n\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\n\n401(k) matching plan\n\nLife insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insurance\n\nEmployee assistance programs\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nShift: Day Shift : 6:00am - 6:30pm OR Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am\nWhat you will do\nTimely execution of tasks and work orders with appropriate documentation according to Standard Operating Procedures, applicable standards, guidelines, practices, and policies.\n\nSafe operation of tools and shop equipment, and safe execution of work in the field; working at heights using fall protection and work positioners.\n\nConfined Space Entry in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.\n\nAbility to read and understand piping and instrumentation drawings, and technical manuals.\n\nBasic computer skills with the ability to utilize corporate intranet and applications, CMMS, and standard word processing and spreadsheet programs (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).\n\nInteract and communicate appropriately with Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, and Engineering to ensure satisfactory performance of mechanical systems.\n\nTrain other mechanics in group and individual settings on qualified tasks; represent Process Maintenance on multidisciplinary project teams.\n\nWhat we are looking for\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required\n\nStrong understanding of industrial process maintenance and systems preferably with refrigeration experience.\n\nUses ability as a skilled specialist in accordance with company policies and procedures to complete complex assignments within defined parameters.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with reasonable accommodations.\n\nExperienced in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and calibration management programs; SAP experience preferred.\n\nExperience working in a GMP regulated environment is preferred.\n\nValid driver’s license.\n\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
